Our Founder's Legacy
Zamindarini Kamalammal was a visionary aristocrat who believed education was the most powerful tool for social transformation. Born into privilege but dedicated to service, she established what would become the Z.K.M. Group of Schools in 1903. Her legacy continues to illuminate thousands of lives.
Our founder, Zamindarini Kamalammal, believed that providing education is the highest form of charity. As Bharathiyar sang, "Building a thousand food shelters or ten thousand temples is noble, but more virtuous than all is to teach a single child the alphabet." In 1903, she established this institution to illuminate lives in Bodinayakanur.
